Job Title: Public Relations Officer

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage all government-related approvals, permits, and documentation processes for construction projects in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with government authorities, handling online government portals, and ensuring timely submission and approval of drawings, permits, licenses, and project-related documents.

Key Responsibilities

· Handle all approval processes related to:

Roads and Transport Authority (RTA)

Dubai Municipality

Dubai Civil Defence

Trakhees

· Submit drawings, NOCs, permits, and technical documents through government portals.

· Coordinate with consultants, engineers, subcontractors, government departments for approvals & inspections.

· Track application status and follow up on pending approvals.

· Ensure all permits and approvals are obtained within project timelines.

· Maintain updated records of approvals, licenses, permits, and official correspondence.

· Handle online systems and portals related to construction approvals and licensing.

· Support project teams with compliance requirements and authority regulations.

· Liaise with various government departments for project-related documentation & processing.

· Ensure adherence to UAE laws, regulations, and authority procedures.

Requirements

· Minimum 5–7 years of experience as a PRO in a UAE construction or engineering company.

· Strong knowledge of:

RTA approval procedures

Dubai Municipality systems and regulations

Dubai Civil Defense approval processes

Trakhees regulations and portal submissions

· Experience in handling government portals and online submission systems.

· Familiarity with construction drawings, permits, NOCs, and inspection procedures.

· Good communication and coordination skills.

· Ability to manage multiple approvals and deadlines simultaneously.

· Valid UAE driving license preferred.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online government systems

Preferred Skills

· Strong follow-up and document management skills.

· Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and approval workflows.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

· Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred.
