A committed public safety dispatcher provides customer service while monitoring and controlling access to the Wild Acres Lakes Community, enforcing rules and regulations as set forth by the governing documents of WALPOA.

To be successful as a public safety dispatcher you should be able to work collaboratively with all members of departments, association members and guests. A public safety dispatcher should be highly attentive to irregularities and capable of sound judgment in difficult situations.

Our staff is expected to respect and maintain the confidentiality of all Association Property Owners, employees, board of directors and vendors information; including, but not limited to, in-person communications all documented and digital and electronic communications and information, telephone conversations, financial records, complaints, legal issues, personnel records and matters, and any business pertaining to Association Property Owners, Employees, Board Members and / or Vendors.

Qualifications:

· Valid in-state Driver’s License.

· High school diploma/GED.

· Communication, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.

· Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Observation and decision-making skills.

· Written and oral communication skills.

· Ability to use radio communications equipment, automated systems and computer terminals.

· Basic knowledge of MS Office applications.

Duties:

  • Greet Property Owners and their guest in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Receive both emergency and non-emergency.
  • Provide assistance proactively and calmly.
  • Communicate effectively with callers, even in stressful situations using a calm and firm voice to provide reassurance to those in need until help arrives.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, complaints, and requests for assistance.
  • Securing and recording evidence.
  • Respond to Property Owner calls.
  • Observe and immediately report weather related road conditions, safety hazards and emergency situations requiring immediate response to protect people and property.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.50 - $15.00 per hour
