About the Opportunity
Under the direction of the Public Safety Supervisor and Manager, the Public Safety Officer is responsible for the safety of patrons and employees within the Flint Institute of Music building and the Flint Repertory Theatre.
Specific Responsibilities and Qualifications
Essential Duties
Qualifications
· Must be organized and able to multi-task
· Must be able to push/pull/lift 50 lbs. minimally
· Communication skills must be top-notch
· Must have excellent customer service skills
· Ability to maintain a calm and cheerful manner when under pressure
· Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
· Ability to walk for repeated periods of time
· High school diploma required
· Security or public safety experience preferred
Compensation and Benefits:
· Pay Range: Starting at $13.92 per hour
· Full Time – Exempt; must be available to work weekends, as needed.
· Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Full Time
· 401k Eligible - Both Full and Part Time
