Please be aware that to qualify for our Internship Placement, students must be actively pursuing an undergraduate degree (all disciplines) and returning to their studies after the 12 month placement concludes.
Purpose of the Internship:The Global Internship Programme is an exciting opportunity to get first-hand experience in a world-class marketing organisation.

Note: This role may involve domestic and international travel and the occasional need to work unsocial hours including evenings and weekends.

Key Results Area-
Assist the Public Relations (PR) Team on delivering the Digital PR Strategy ensuring it is integrated across all Marketing channels and provide regular reports on PR campaign performance analytics.
- Support PR Department Online activities as required, including Media Room management, Social feed and amplification of stories and content featuring Ireland. Candidate will also be responsible for the creation of Electronic Press Kits (EPKs) and ensuring press material is current and relevant and that Tourism Ireland’s priority campaigns are highlighted.

Support the Publicity and Communications Team in e-marketing, virtual and in person events and promotions as required i.e. Marketing Plans Launch, Ministerial visits, Media receptions and press launch events.

Database Management – Assist in sourcing, updating, maintaining and developing Tier One press and corporate contacts in the PR Department account management system (CRM).

Journalist Visits – support the team in identifying, evaluating and working with US Media & Influencers, to develop and pitch story angles and coordinate ground arrangements for media visiting Ireland with Sister Agencies Failte Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland.

Provide support for budget administration and control and procurement as well as the Publicity Department campaign outcome reports.

Daily Reception desk coverage as required.

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree (all disciplines will be considered)

Must be returning to complete studies after the completion of the placement
- The legal right to live and work in the US for the full duration of the programme

Fluent English, both oral and written, is required
