[Publishing Center] Senior Esports Manager (Türkiye/EMEA)(A227623)

Responsibilities:

Business Development & Partnerships (Brands, Sponsors, Key Accounts)

• Lead brand and business partnerships for MTC & MPL MENA (Türkiye and MENA's anchor product/league) , and the broader Türkiye/EMEA esports region.
• Source, negotiate, and secure sponsorships aligned with our M8-ready roadmap.
• Build long-term strategic relationships with blue-chip brands, FMCG, telco, youth lifestyle, financial services, and key local partners.
• Deliver integrated partner activations, which grow awareness for MLBB esports nationally.

Esports Ecosystem Development (3rd Parties, Federations, Community)

• Build and expand the Türkiye esports ecosystem across teams, organisers, universities, federations, and community circuits.
• Identify and onboard multi-title esports partners for conventions, expos, and national-level events.
• Strengthen Türkiye's role within the broader EMEA ecosystem as a pipeline market for events and IP expansion.

Esports Operations (Vendor & Team Management, Offline Events)

• Manage esports vendors and operators, from RFP to execution, ensuring MLBB standards for MTC, M8 build-up events, and all offline activations.
• Maintain strong relationships with Türkiye's professional teams and organisations; support sustainable team development and league participation.
• Oversee offline event execution (marketing, promotions, production, and fan experience).
• Ensure all operations meet global event standards required for M8 2027 preparation.

Marketing & Creator Ecosystem (KOLs, Content, Social)

• Work with MLBB Türkiye Marketing to localise campaigns, grow the MLBB esports creator community, and scale viewership.
• Lead KOL strategies to increase esports awareness and bring in new mobile gaming audiences.
• Deliver fast, culturally relevant content breakthroughs for both online reach and offline attendance.

Strategy & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Work closely with global teams to define KPIs and measure impact across viewership, community, and ecosystem metrics.
• Provide structured market insights on Türkiye/EMEA: fan sentiment, competitive trends, business risks, and emerging opportunities.
• Collaborate with regional publishing, marketing, user acquisition, and operations teams to build the Türkiye 2026–2027 masterplan leading into M8.

Required Experience

• 6–8 years in business development, partnerships, esports/gaming, entertainment, or sports management.
• Proven experience driving business growth in Türkiye with strong local networks.
• Solid track record in offline event marketing/management (sports, esports, entertainment preferred).
• Strong negotiation skills; proven ability to secure and deliver complex multi-party deals.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and cross-cultural collaboration.
• Deep understanding of Türkiye's esports landscape and youth culture.
• Passion for esports; strong grasp of audience behaviour, viewership metrics, and consumer trends.
• Proficiency in Turkish + English ; Arabic is a plus.

Preferred

• Experience with mobile gaming ecosystems or high-growth digital industries.
• Familiarity with Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and the MTC league.
• Experience working with publishers, federations, teams, and brand partners in Türkiye.
• Leadership experience in project teams or cross-functional initiatives.
