Pulmonary Function Technologist, Respiratory Therapist

• Perform Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs):

Conduct spirometry, lung volume measurements, diffusion capacity tests, and bronchodilator responsiveness assessments.

• Prepare and Educate Patients:

Explain procedures, ensure patient comfort, and guide them through testing steps.

• Operate and Maintain Equipment:

Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain diagnostic equipment to ensure accuracy.

• Collect and Document Data:

Record patient histories, test results, and observations for physician review.

• Assist in Respiratory Treatments:

Support administration of oxygen therapy or bronchodilator therapy when required.

• Support Diagnosis:

Provide preliminary data interpretation to assist physicians in diagnosing respiratory disorders.

• Patient Education:

Help patients and families understand respiratory conditions and management strategies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
