We are seeking a board-certified Pulmonologist to provide medical leadership and expertise in pulmonary clinical trials. The physician will be involved in working on studies for new cutting-edge treatments related to respiratory conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), interstitial lung disease, pulmonary fibrosis, lung infections, and other pulmonary disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and scientific input for the development of study protocols and clinical trial design related to pulmonary medicine.
  • Oversee and monitor clinical trials involving patients with respiratory diseases to ensure protocol adherence and patient safety.
  • Review and assess adverse events, medical queries, and safety data in ongoing studies.
  • Collaborate with investigators, clinical operations teams, and regulatory bodies to support site selection, enrollment, and trial conduct.
  • Analyze clinical data and contribute to clinical study reports, abstracts, publications, and regulatory submissions.
  • Participate in investigator meetings, advisory boards, and external scientific conferences.
  • Stay current with medical and scientific developments in pulmonology and clinical research regulations.
  • Support medical affairs and business development activities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Pulmonology or Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. (required)
  • Valid medical license to practice in Arizona. (required)
  • Proven ability to analyze clinical trial data and ensure patient safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as an investigator or sub-investigator in pulmonary clinical trials.
  • Familiarity with electronic data capture systems and clinical trial management software.
  • Understanding of biostatistics and clinical trial methodology.
  • Willingness to travel to clinical trial sites and scientific meetings.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $100.00 - $250.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
