We are seeking motivated hard workers to join our team. As a Pump Installer Helper, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation and maintenance of various water well pumping systems and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires a willingness to learn technical expertise as well as a healthy attention to detail. Being an Installer Helper is just the first step in your new career, setting you on a path to becoming either a Lead Installer and running your own hoist truck and crew, or a Service Technician diagnosing and solving technical issues in systems as they arise.

Job Requirements:

- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record

- Available to start work at 7:00 am

- Available to work daily overtime* (over 8 hours per day)

- Available to work weekly overtime* (up to 7 days a week)

- Ability to safely lift at least 40 lbs.

- Ability to safely work outdoors in hot and cold conditions

- Basic knowledge of work safety principles

*Note: All overtime hours compensated in accordance with CA labor laws

Duties include assisting Lead Installers with:

- Removal, inspection, and installation of water well pumping systems

- Conducting tests to ensure proper function of systems

- Troubleshooting and repairing any issues that arise during installation or maintenance

- Collaborating with team members to complete projects on time and within budget

- Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment

- Providing excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions

Applicable Experience:

- Previous experience in installation, servicing, or running of water well pumping systems

- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems

- Familiarity with welding and/or machining

- Background in agricultural or outdoor field work

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Starting pay may be adjusted higher for candidates with:

- Significant and applicable technical experience

- Commercial driver’s license

- Military service
