Punching Machine operator

Main responsibilities will be the following:

· Set up and operate CNC or turret punching machines to produce metal components to specification.

· Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders.

· Select, install, and align appropriate tools, dies, and punches for each job.

· Program machine parameters using CNC controls or CAD/CAM software.

· Inspect parts for accuracy using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

· Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on punching machines.

· Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.

· Record production data, downtime, and quality control results.

· Train, guide, and support junior machine operators and new employees.

· Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area
