Punctual and Energetic Full Time Nanny Needed

A warm and friendly family in Winchester is seeking a reliable, experienced full-time, live-out nanny to care for their two boys, ages 4 and almost 1. This is a long-term position, as the family is hoping to find someone who can stay with them for several years. They are looking for a caregiver who enjoys balancing attentive childcare, light household support, and engaging developmental activities in a positive, structured environment. Both parents are working professionals who highly value punctuality, clear communication, and consistency.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant childcare experience
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Up to date on Flu, TDap, and MMR vaccines
• Non-smoker
• Comfortable caring for multiple young children
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (family car provided)
• Comfortable around large dogs
• Punctual, communicative, and professional
• Bilingual (Spanish ) not required, but is a strong plus
• Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for both children
• Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities that support school readiness, curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth
• Prioritize daily outdoor time and active play
• Drive children to and from activities (including preschool for the oldest)
• Support children's developmental needs
• Children’s laundry
• Meal prep for children
• Dishes related to children’s meals
• Light housekeeping related to the children
• Maintain organization of children’s rooms and common areas

• About the Family: There are two large Bernedoodles. The nanny will not have any responsibility for the dogs unless they would like to be involved but must be comfortable having dogs in the home. Mom works from home in a separate office space and the nanny will have autonomy. The family would consider having a nanny join them for occasional, simple domestic travel in the future; however, this would likely be infrequent and is not a deal breaker if the nanny is opposed to it. The family uses the 1-2-3 Magic method and would appreciate a nanny who is familiar with this approach or open to learning more about it. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment while confidently managing the children independently throughout the workday.

Position Details

Start Date: May 1 (flexible in either direction)
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Wednesday from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

• The extended day is flexible; however, one consistent weekday will require later hours (to be mutually agreed upon).
• At times, one parent may travel for work, and additional hours and support would be appreciated during those periods..
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Compensation: $32–$36/hour, based on experience (taxes withheld)
