Key Responsibilities1. Procurement & Purchasing
- Identify reliable suppliers and obtain quotations as per the organization’s requirements.
- Evaluate price, quality, delivery terms, and service support before finalizing purchases.
- Raise Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure they comply with approved requisitions.
- Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
2. Vendor Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Conduct vendor evaluation and performance reviews periodically.
- Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with suppliers.
- Resolve supplier issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
3. Cost Control
- Ensure cost-effective procurement without compromising quality.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Prepare cost comparison sheets and submit for management approval.
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and updated purchasing records, price lists, and supplier databases.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with the finance department for invoice processing and payment follow-ups.
5. Coordination & Communication
- Work closely with stores, production, accounts, and logistics teams to forecast needs.
- Track and follow up orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Report purchase status, vendor issues, and market changes to management.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing (depending on company requirements)
- Experience in — industry (optional to specify)
- Knowledge of procurement laws and vendor management principles
