About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Assistant to support daily procurement operations, coordinate with vendors, track purchase orders, and maintain accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up with vendors to confirm orders, shipment status, delivery timelines, and return rejections.
- Track purchase orders and maintain updated records of order status and expected delivery dates.
- Coordinate internally with warehouse, receiving, accounts, and related teams to ensure smooth workflows.
- Resolve supplier-related issues such as delays, discrepancies, or quality concerns.
- Maintain records including purchase orders, delivery notes, invoices, and communication logs.
- Share regular status updates with internal stakeholders and concerned departments.
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance, reliability, and delivery commitment.
- Use procurement tools, Excel, ERP systems, or tracking software for monitoring and reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a related role.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate tracking and problem-solving.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ability to work on ERP/procurement tools.
- Ability to manage vendor communication professionally and timely.
