Responsibilities:
- Assist the Procurement/Purchase Department in sourcing and purchasing construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare and issue request for quotations (RFQs), compare supplier offers, and assist in negotiation for best prices and terms.
- Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier lists, and material delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with site engineers, storekeepers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Check and verify purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes for accuracy and compliance.
- Support the preparation of purchase reports, cost summaries, and vendor evaluations.
- Ensure materials meet project specifications and quality standards before approval.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with company procurement policies and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction purchasing or procurement.
- Good knowledge of building materials, MEP items, and vendor networks.
- Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and basic ERP/purchasing systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
