Job Title: Assistant Manager – Purchase (Civil Industry)
Experience: 4 Years
Reporting To: Management
Roles & Responsibilities
Execute end-to-end procurement activities including indent processing, quotation comparison, purchase order creation, and vendor follow-ups.
Ensure timely procurement of materials, components, and services as per project and business requirements.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers to support organizational procurement goals.
Maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts to ensure optimal value.
Conduct periodic vendor performance evaluations and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
Optimize procurement costs through strategic negotiation and cost-analysis techniques.
Assist in implementing cost-saving initiatives and contribute to overall cost-reduction targets.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, invoices, delivery challans, and other procurement documentation.
Ensure adherence to organizational procurement policies and relevant statutory norms.
Coordinate with stores and inventory teams to manage stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking.
Collaborate with production and planning departments for material forecasting and requirement analysis.
Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and new supplier developments to maintain competitive procurement strategies.
