Job Summary:
Bachelor’s degree required or relevant field.
1–4 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
Experience in Industry, e.g., manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and service.
  • Assist in sourcing materials, equipment, or services according to company standards.
  • Request and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) in a timely manner.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and assist in onboarding new vendors.
  • Follow up with suppliers on order confirmation, delivery schedules, and shipment tracking.
  • Resolve delivery issues, shortages, or quality discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate purchase records, price lists, and supplier information.
  • Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance.
  • Monitor and update procurement databases or ERP systems.
  • Assist in negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, production, and finance teams to monitor stock levels and avoid shortages or overstock.
  • Support inventory reconciliation and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchase requirements.
  • Communicate delivery timelines and procurement status to concerned teams.
  • Support budgeting and planning for procurement cycles.
