Purchase Co-ordinator

The Purchase Coordinator is responsible for supporting the procurement team in the sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials, products, and services. This role involves coordination with suppliers, maintaining purchase records, ensuring timely delivery, and supporting inventory control processes to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement of goods and services in accordance with company policies.
  • Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and negotiate terms as needed.
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure proper documentation.
  • Track and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, finance, production) to ensure procurement needs are met.
  • Assist in resolving invoice discrepancies and supplier disputes.
  • Monitor inventory levels and initiate restocking as required.
  • Support vendor evaluation and performance tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with company and regulatory procurement standards.
