Purchase Coordinator

India

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers; maintain relationships with existing vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of products.
  • Procurement Process: Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition, sourcing, negotiation, purchase order creation, and order tracking.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct market research to assess pricing trends and negotiate favourable terms to achieve cost savings.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with inventory management to prevent stock outs or excess inventory.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier contracts, and pricing agreements in compliance with company policies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as finance, production, and quality assurance to align purchasing strategies with organizational goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with legal and ethical standards, and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Any graduate
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing,
  • Skills:
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
