Purchase Coordinator

Position Overview:

The Purchase Coordinator is responsible for managing procurement activities related to sheet metal components, press tools, raw materials, consumables, and laser-cut parts. This role ensures timely sourcing of quality materials and services at competitive prices, supporting smooth production and project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Sourcing

• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for sheet metal, tools, and fabrication consumables.
• Request and compare quotations, negotiate pricing, delivery, and payment terms.
• Issue purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules.
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.

2. Material Planning & Inventory Coordination

• Coordinate with the production and planning teams to forecast material requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Work closely with stores and logistics to ensure timely material availability.

3. Vendor Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate vendor performance in terms of quality, delivery, and service.
• Resolve supplier issues, discrepancies, or delays proactively.

4. Cost Control & Budgeting

• Support cost-reduction initiatives through alternate sourcing and process improvements.
• Analyze price trends and market conditions to ensure competitive procurement.

5. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
