Purchase Coordinator – Industrial Automation

Job Description:

Multitech System is currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Purchase Coordinator to join our team. The Purchase Coordinator will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and procuring materials and components used in industrial automation projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge to identify correct materials, specifications, and part numbers, while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.. The Purchase Coordinator ensures that all procurement activities comply with the company's quality standards, budgetary constraints and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end purchase activities for industrial automation components and materials
• Technically evaluate and select correct materials, specifications, and part numbers as per project requirements
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams to understand material needs
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions, RFQs, purchase orders, and follow-ups
• Identify and develop reliable vendors, negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and terms
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project schedules
• Verify received materials against purchase orders and technical specifications
• Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor databases, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards

Technical Skills Required:

• Good understanding of industrial automation components such as PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, control panels, cables, instrumentation, and electrical components
• Ability to read and understand technical datasheets, drawings, and BOMs
• Knowledge of part numbering systems and material specifications
• Familiarity with ERP or purchase management systems is an advantage

Qualification:

• BE / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (ME) / Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) / Instrumentation Engineering

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the industrial automation field

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
