Qualification: Any Graduate, MBA, Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

Experience: 15 – 17 Years of Purchase and Procurement experience (preferred Manufacturing / Engineering / Automotive Industries)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor purchase, procurement strategies for raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and subcontracting items.
  • Plan and execute inbound and outbound logistics activities (material delivery, dispatch, shipments).
  • Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, courier agencies, and warehouses.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including e-way bills, GST documentation, and transport regulations.
  • Optimize logistics cost through route planning, load optimization, and vendor negotiation.
  • Track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve transportation delays.
  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Ensure proper material handling, storage, and FIFO implementation.
  • Maintain accurate stock records, GRN entry, and reconciliation with accounts.
  • Coordinate with production and planning teams for material forecasts.
  • Evaluate supplier performance (quality, delivery, cost).
  • Address supplier issues, delays, and quality concerns.
  • Ensure proper records of PO, quotations, contracts, dispatch documents, and logistics records.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Maintain documentation for imports/exports if applicable.
  • Work closely with Production, Quality, Accounts, Planning, and Management teams to ensure smooth material flow.
  • Support new project procurement and cost estimation.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for price, delivery terms, credit limits, and long-term contracts.
  • Maintain approved vendor lists (AVL) and conduct vendor audits with quality and production teams.
  • Ensure purchase orders (POs) are executed timely in alignment with production schedules.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks; ensure cost reduction initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ISO standards.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of purchase, procurement processes, vendor development, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience in logistics planning, transportation management, and stores operations.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (any manufacturing ERP).
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and documentation.
  • Analytical, cost-focused, and detail-oriented.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
