Purchase Engineer

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

● Manage the Company’s day-to-day purchasing activities based on project requirement ensure that all the

purchasing items are meeting their performance standards.

● Floating of enquiry for procurement of raw materials required like Stainless Steel, Mild Steel and other

bought out items.

● Analyze quotes of commercial items and conditions to suggest the best offer

● Prepare comparison of the received quotes, Negotiating Price, term and Lead Time with vendor or service

provider and achieving department objective and goals within budget.

● To prepare Purchase order (PO) & make rate contract for services.

● To follow up with the vendors for a placed order to deliver on scheduled date.

● Invoice verification as per PO terms.

● Prepare periodic reports pertaining to stock, price trends and development of alternative source of supplier

● To ensure minimum stock of consumables are maintained like welding rod, drill etc.

● Take lead in creating profitable ways to manage obsolete and slow-moving stock to help offset losses.

● Assist in developing more effective invoicing and collection process

● Forecast the yearly Purchases and share the report in the beginning of the financial year

● Identify & empanel vendors, maintain domestic and international Suppliers database

● Evaluate Performance of Registered vendors.

Experience : 3 to 4 years’ experience in Purchase, preferred from same industry

Education:B.E. Mechanical / Diploma or Any Graduate

Note : Candidate have to vistit factory tarapur, onces or twice in a week

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
