Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and reliability.
- Manages the entire procurement process, develops purchasing policies and procedures, and prepares performance reports.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers.
- Coordinate with the engineering and production teams to understand material requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or cost.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in related field.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
