Purchase Engineer- Technical

- Floating inquiry to supplier & receives quotation.

- Knowledge on glass, aluminium, sheet, metal, plastic, rubber, casting, etc.

- Material planning, costing & negotiation.

- Receive samples for testing, evaluation and sending results to vendors.

- Vendor management & Inventory management.

- Maintaining records/reports.

- Procuring engineering related materials (i.e. Mechanical, Electrical & Civil).

- Follow up of material movement on time

- Follow up on pending order for execution.

- Ensure poducts needful to complete the projects.

- Determine the lowest cost for products/materials.

- Analysis of market and delivery systems.

- Maintaining records or goods ordered and received.

- Sourcing of vendors - Should have flair and ability to create various options. should have focused on continuous sourcing in the companies where he has been working.

- Negotiation- Should have lot of ideas and strategies and participated with his manager in vendor negotiations.

Desirable Qualifications:

- Certification in procurement or supply chain management

- Source materials, ensuring quality and availability.
