Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and source raw materials, hardware, packaging, and other required items for production.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Maintain and update vendor database and build strong relationships with local suppliers.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely approvals and deliveries.
- Track material inventory levels and coordinate with the production and store departments.
- Verify supplier bills and coordinate with the accounts team for timely payments.
- Ensure quality checks and proper documentation of all incoming materials.
- Maintain purchase records and generate periodic reports on material consumption and procurement costs.
- Assist management in cost control and procurement planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline (B.Com / BBA preferred).
- 1–5 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in furniture, handicraft, or manufacturing industries.
- Good negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of local markets and suppliers in Saharanpur region.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, or Zoho Inventory.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
