Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming medical supplies, medicines, and products against purchase orders and invoices.
• Ensure batch numbers, expiry dates, and quantity accuracy during stock inward.
• Update inward entries in inventory management software or manual registers.
• Label and arrange received stock in appropriate storage areas based on category and storage requirements (e.g., cold storage).
• Coordinate with suppliers in case of discrepancies in delivery (shortages, damages, expired products, etc.).
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of inward records, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), and supporting documents.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and store SOPs during stock handling.
• Work closely with the purchase and billing departments for stock reconciliation and reporting.
• Monitor near-expiry products and report to the inventory team for timely clearance.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of storage areas, especially for sensitive and controlled drugs.
