Their responsibilities also involve managing inventory, tracking orders, resolving issues with vendors, and collaborating with internal departments to meet their purchasing needs.

Key responsibilities

  • Supplier management:
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery timelines.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to get the best terms.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Procurement process:
  • Manage the entire procurement cycle, from initial request to final delivery.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and other necessary documents.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies.
  • Order and inventory management:
  • Monitor and track the status of all purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and optimize costs.
  • Handle discrepancies such as incorrect, under, or over-ordered items.
  • Collaboration and reporting:
  • Collaborate with other internal departments to understand their procurement needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and budget status.
  • Compliance and analysis:
  • Ensure purchases comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on market trends and new procurement methods.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
