Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing and Supplier Management: Identify potential suppliers through market research, industry events, and professional networks. Evaluate supplier capabilities and maintain strong relationships to ensure reliable supply chains.
- Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Purchase Order Management: Create and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational procedures. Track orders and manage deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory control teams to maintain optimal stock levels, analyze demand patterns, and forecast future needs.
- Cost Analysis and Budget Management: Develop and manage procurement budgets, track spending, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procurement activities comply with relevant regulations and quality standards. Address any supplier disputes or quality issues promptly.
