A Store Executive is responsible for the overall management and daily operations of a store, which includes inventory control, staff supervision, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Their main goal is to optimize store performance and drive profitability. The specific duties may vary depending on whether the role is in a retail environment, a warehouse setting, or a manufacturing store. Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, order and receive new merchandise, conduct regular physical inventory counts, and ensure proper storage and organization of all items.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily activities, including store opening and closing procedures, managing cash registers, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, handle customer inquiries and complaints, and ensure a high standard of customer service.
  • Staff Supervision: Train, motivate, and supervise store staff, create work schedules, and evaluate performance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all transactions, prepare sales reports, and coordinate with other departments (e.g., procurement, accounts).
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with suppliers for timely delivery of goods, negotiate pricing, and manage returns or discrepancies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is the minimum requirement, while a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a retail, warehouse, or store management role is crucial.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (like SAP or ERP systems), MS Office, and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
