Purchase Executive

• Responsible for purchasing all materials, components, and services required for automobile manufacturing.
• Source and procure sheet metal components, fabricated parts, welded assemblies, and related hardware used in vehicle production.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for sheet metal, machining, fabrication, casting, and other automotive components.
• Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings while maintaining required quality standards.
• Review engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications to ensure correct procurement of sheet metal parts and other components.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Planning, and Design teams to ensure timely material availability and avoid line stoppages.
• Maintain daily follow-ups with suppliers for delivery schedules, shortages, and priority parts.
• Prepare and release purchase orders, maintain supplier records, and manage all documentation in the ERP system.
• Conduct supplier visits to check manufacturing capability, tool availability, and process compliance for sheet metal fabrication.
• Monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery, pricing, and capacity utilization.
• Develop new vendors for sheet metal items, brackets, frames, chassis parts, and other auto components.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives through alternate sourcing, VA/VE, and material optimization.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, quality standards, and audit requirements.
• Utilize good communication, negotiation, and technical understanding to manage the entire procurement cycle effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
