Purchase Executive

Job Summary

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, goods, and services required by the company. The role involves vendor management, price negotiation, purchase order processing, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Request and review quotations; negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain and update vendor database, product details, and purchase records.
• Track and ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up with vendors for delays.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Production, Stores, Accounts) to understand purchase requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders to avoid stockouts.
• Compare prices, analyze costs, and maintain cost-saving strategies.
• Handle invoice issues, discrepancies, and ensure timely payment to vendors.
• Maintain good relationships with vendors and develop new vendor sources.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement standards and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
• Ability to work with MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems (preferred).

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
