Purchase Executive

We are looking for a Purchaser / Purchase Executive who has strong knowledge of metal fabrication materials and can visit markets/suppliers to procure required materials at the best price. The candidate must be skilled in negotiation, vendor management, and timely procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit local markets and suppliers to purchase raw materials including SS/MS sheets, pipes, fittings, hardware, welding consumables, etc.
• Conduct strong negotiation to get the best pricing and quality.
• Identify and evaluate new suppliers to expand the vendor list.
• Ensure timely procurement based on production and project requirements.
• Maintain purchase orders, quotations, bills, and delivery challans.
• Coordinate with the production/store team for daily material needs.
• Check the quality and specifications of materials before purchase.
• Track steel prices, material availability, and market trends.
• Follow up for delivery timelines and resolve shortages or discrepancies.
• Maintain proper documentation and assist in cost control.

Requirements

• Experience in metal fabrication / stainless steel industry is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication materials, accessories, fittings, and industrial hardware.
• Must be comfortable with fieldwork and daily market visits.
• Excellent negotiation & communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, purchase entry).
• Reliable, honest, and responsible.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
