KRA for Purchase Executive – Bakery Industry1. Procurement Planning & Inventory Management
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials (flour, sugar, dairy, etc.), packaging materials, and consumables.
- Maintain minimum stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Coordinate with production to forecast material requirements based on sales trends and demand.
2. Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for quality, pricing, and timely delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with reliable vendors for consistent supply.
- Regularly evaluate vendor performance (quality, punctuality, price competitiveness).
3. Cost Control & Budgeting
- Source cost-effective materials without compromising quality.
- Maintain monthly procurement budget and provide cost-saving initiatives.
- Track price fluctuations and update management about market trends.
4. Quality Assurance
- Ensure all procured materials meet quality standards and bakery's specifications.
- Coordinate with the QA team to handle non-conformance or rejection issues.
- Conduct random checks and quality audits of incoming materials.
5. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain purchase orders, GRNs, invoices, and other documentation in compliance with audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI and other local food safety regulations for materials.
6. Coordination with Internal Teams
- Work closely with production, store, finance, and logistics teams to streamline the supply chain.
- Communicate any delays or issues proactively to avoid operational disruptions.
7. Daily & Monthly Reporting
- Maintain purchase logs, vendor lists, and cost analysis reports.
- Submit weekly/monthly reports on procurement status, cost variations, and stock levels to management.
8. Technology Usage
- Proficient in using ERP/software systems for purchase orders and inventory tracking.
- Recommend digital solutions or tools to improve efficiency in the procurement process.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
