Key Responsibilities
- Handle purchase orders for gold, diamonds, gemstones, and jewellery materials
- Evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of materials
- Maintain purchase records, bills, and documentation
- Coordinate with accounts, production, and stock departments
- Monitor staff work related to receiving, checking, and recording inventory
- Maintain updated stock levels and ensure materials availability
- Support management with purchase reports and cost analysis
Requirements
- B.Com / relevant qualification
- 1–3 years experience in the jewellery industry (preferred)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Basic understanding of gold, diamonds, and raw materials
- Ability to coordinate between departments
- Leadership skills to oversee staff work and ensure accuracy
- Good knowledge of MS Excel / ERP systems
