Education : DME / BE / BSC/ Bcom

Experience : 2 to 4 years.

1. engineering purchase knowledge machine shop industry (casting / casting machine part shop purchase egnieer knowledge)

Responsibilities:

Vertical Responsibilities:

- Ensure capacity availability at suppliers for casting parts.

- Costing, Price calculation, Cost reductions & negotiations with suppliers

- Knowledge of casting/painting/machining process

- Forecasting of production/SPD requirement as per business plan for building capacity

- Handling of internal cost audits & self-audits

- Knowledge of basic quality requirement for casting & machining

Horizontal Responsibilities:

Competency Requirements:

Technical/ Functional:

- Knowledge of various costing process

- Should have basic knowledge of CNC, VMC & HMC machining

- Should have knowledge of TPM & 16 basic losses

- Should have knowledge of procurement of cutting tools for different sources to optimize the cost.

- Basic understanding of Aluminium & ferrous casting process

- Basic understanding of surface treatment processes (powder coating & painting)
