- Identify vendors and obtain quotations for required materials (workshop consumables, tools, cleaning materials, office supplies, etc.).
- Compare prices, technical specifications, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely approvals.
- Maintain minimum stock levels for frequently used items
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Evaluate vendor performance (quality, pricing, delivery timelines).
- Visit suppliers when required for negotiation or quality checks.
- Ensure all purchases comply with approved vendor lists.
