Job Summary:

The Purchase Manager (Fresher) will assist in planning, sourcing, and purchasing construction materials, tools, and services required for ongoing projects. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, site engineers, and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement. The candidate must be willing to travel to sites and supplier locations using their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in purchasing construction materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, electrical, plumbing, and hardware items
• Identify and coordinate with local suppliers and vendors
• Collect quotations and help in price comparison and negotiations
• Place purchase orders under guidance of senior management
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites
• Visit supplier locations and construction sites as required
• Maintain purchase records, bills, and inventory data
• Coordinate with site engineers for material requirements
• Ensure quality and quantity of materials received at site
• Follow company policies and procurement procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma (any stream; Civil/Construction preferred)
• Fresher or basic knowledge of construction materials
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, email, records)
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks

Mandatory Requirement:

• Must own a two-wheeler or four-wheeler with valid driving license
• Willingness to travel frequently to supplier locations and construction sites

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of local construction material markets
• Basic understanding of purchase procedures and inventory
• Negotiation and cost-control skills

Working Conditions:

• Field-based role with frequent travel
• Construction site and supplier visits
• Office and on-site coordination

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
