Purchase Executive

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and specifications
• Source reliable suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms
• Manage purchase orders using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS to ensure accuracy and timely processing
• Monitor inventory levels through MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems and coordinate replenishments accordingly
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly and maintain effective vendor management practices
• Oversee procurement activities related to logistics, shipping, and customs clearance to optimize supply chain flow
• Maintain detailed records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier communications for audit purposes

Skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS for procurement management and inventory control
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, including sourcing, logistics, and vendor management
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contract terms and pricing
• Experience with contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and enforcing agreements
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and inventory management techniques like MRP
• Ability to analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve sourcing strategies
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders
