Purchase Executive

Job DescriptionDepartment: Purchase / Procurement

Reports To:

Location: HyderabadRole PurposeResponsible for planning, sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, goods, and services required by the organization at the best quality, price, and delivery terms, while ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors/suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability
• Negotiate prices, contracts, credit terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials, consumables, spares, and services
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/production to avoid shortages or excess
• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and statutory regulations
• Maintain accurate purchase records, vendor databases, and documentation
• Coordinate with Finance for budgeting, cost control, and timely payments
• Resolve supplier-related issues such as quality discrepancies, delays, or shortages
• Track market trends, price fluctuations, and new supplier developments
• Lead and guide the purchase team to achieve department objectives

• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally / any ERP)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Commerce / Engineering / Supply Chain Management / Business Administration
• MBA or Diploma in Materials Management (preferred)
• 4-5 years of experience in procurement/purchase.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
