We are currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Purchaser / Procurement Officer to join our growing team in UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the company’s purchasing activities, sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely procurement of materials and services while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
The candidate should possess strong communication and negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source reliable suppliers and obtain competitive quotations
- Prepare and process purchase orders
- Compare prices, quality, and delivery schedules from vendors
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and payments
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Conduct market visits and supplier evaluations when required
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
- Ensure purchases comply with company policies and budget requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification preferred
- Minimum 1- 3 years of experience in purchasing/procurement
- Strong knowledge of procurement procedures and vendor management
- Good communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Valid UAE driving license is mandatory
