Purchase Executive-Fashion Industry

Key Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with vendors, particularly specialized artisans, weavers, and suppliers of high-end raw materials.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all procured materials meet the high-quality, luxury standards of the brand and comply with ethical, social, and environmental standards.
• Purchase Order Processing: Create, review, and process purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy in technical specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules.
• Negotiation & Cost Management: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to optimize costs while maintaining quality.
• Inventory & Production Coordination: Collaborate with production, design, and merchandising teams to align purchases with production schedules and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the luxury fashion, apparel, or textile industry.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabrics, garment accessories, and the textile production process.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (especially Excel for data analysis).
• Communication & Negotiation: Excellent negotiation skills to secure the best rates and strong communication skills to manage relationships with suppliers.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, price fluctuations, and inventory data.
