- ourcing & Procurement: Identify, select, and source high-quality food, beverages, and kitchen supplies.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms.
- Cost Control: Monitor budgets, analyze market trends, predict price changes, and find cost-saving alternatives.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, manage perishables, and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely reordering.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all products meet quality standards and comply with health, safety, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., HACCP).
- Reporting: Prepare purchase orders, reports, and analysis for management, tracking expenditures and supplier performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in F&B procurement or a similar role.
- Negotiation: Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical: Proficiency with inventory/procurement software (e.g., Oracle, Material Control).
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of perishables, cold chain logistics, market trends, and food safety.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field often preferred.
