Purchase Executive (Manager)

Location: HO/Matoda,
Department: Procurement & Supply Chain
Reporting To: Head of Operations / Director.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.

· Handle end-to-end machinery purchase (equipment, spare parts, attachments, consumables).

· Manage fabrication purchase (steel structures, tanks, frames, custom-fabricated parts).

· Possess strong technical knowledge of bought items to evaluate quotations both technically and commercially.

· Source, evaluate, negotiate, and finalize suppliers ensuring quality and cost competitiveness.

· Build and maintain reliable vendor networks; conduct supplier audits and performance reviews.

· Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.

· Control procurement budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.

· Oversee imports, logistics, and timely delivery of equipment and fabricated parts.

· Maintain procurement records, contracts, and MIS reports.

Key Skills & Competencies:

· In-depth knowledge of bought items (machinery, spare parts, fabrication materials, consumables).

· Strong vendor management, sourcing, and negotiation skills.

· Ability to read and understand technical drawings/specifications.

· Familiarity with supply chain processes, inventory control, and logistics.

· Cost-conscious, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.

· Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally) and MS Office.

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Supply Chain Management / Business Administration.

· Preferred: MBA in Supply Chain or Materials Management.

· 5–15 years of procurement experience in heavy machinery and fabrication purchase.

· Budget : 5 To 10 LPA.

· Demonstrated expertise in understanding and sourcing technical/engineering items.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
