Job Description:
- Procure medicines, surgical items, and pharmacy-related materials as per requirement
- Identify and coordinate with approved vendors and distributors
- Prepare and process purchase orders in a timely manner
- Ensure availability of stock and avoid shortages or overstocking
- Verify invoices, delivery challans, and purchase bills
- Monitor expiry dates and batch details of medicines
- Maintain accurate purchase records and documentation
- Coordinate with pharmacy, stores, and accounts departments
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies
- Handle returns, replacements, and vendor follow-ups
Key Skills Required:
- Knowledge of medicines and pharmaceutical products
- Vendor negotiation and coordination skills
- Inventory and stock management
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, billing / ERP software)
- Attention to detail and good communication skills
Experience
Minimum 1 year experience in pharmacy purchase or procurement
Qualification:
B.Pharm / D.Pharm
Salary:
