Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and identify reliable suppliers and vendors for materials, components, and services.
  • Request and evaluate quotations (RFQs), prepare comparison sheets, and finalize orders.
  • Negotiate price, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
  • Issue purchase orders (POs) and follow up for on-time delivery.
  • Maintain records of purchase, pricing, and supplier information.
  • Coordinate with stores, accounts, and production departments for material requirements and approvals.
  • Ensure procurement complies with company policies and quality standards.
  • Handle supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.
  • Track material shortages, manage inventory levels, and prevent overstock or understock.
  • Assist in annual rate contracts, vendor database updates, and cost reduction initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Commerce, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
  • 2–4 years of experience in purchase or procurement (preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, or Tally for purchase tracking.
  • Good knowledge of vendor management and logistics.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of power electronics / electrical components
  • Experience in import / export purchase coordination.
  • Understanding of GST, purchase documentation, and inventory processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
