Profiles with only real estate or residential project exposure will not be considered.
Infra.Health is seeking an experienced Procurement Head – Construction EPC to lead and manage end-to-end procurement activities for healthcare and public infrastructure EPC projects across Maharashtra. The role involves strategic sourcing of construction materials, medical infrastructure equipment, and specialized services for large-scale hospital, healthcare, and government infrastructure projects.
The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in Construction EPC projects (mandatory), particularly within healthcare and infrastructure domains. Experience limited to real estate or residential projects will not be considered. The role requires in-depth knowledge of government procurement norms, EPC contract management, vendor development, and cost optimization.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with Infra.Health’s EPC project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate closely with the EPC Head, Project Managers, Planning, and Engineering teams to identify procurement needs and finalize procurement schedules.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, EPC best practices, and applicable government regulations.
Vendor & Supplier Management
- Identify, evaluate, empanel, and manage vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors suitable for construction and healthcare EPC projects.
- Establish long-term strategic relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost efficiency.
- Lead commercial negotiations to secure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and contractual safeguards.
- Monitor vendor performance against delivery timelines, quality benchmarks, and contractual obligations.
Tendering & Contract Management
- Manage the complete tendering lifecycle, including preparation of RFPs, BOQs, RFQs, techno-commercial evaluations, and finalization.
- Ensure contracts, work orders, and rate agreements are executed in line with legal, financial, and EPC requirements.
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Projects teams to ensure all approvals and documentation are in place before procurement execution.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare and manage procurement budgets in coordination with project teams.
- Track procurement costs, analyze variances, and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Identify cost-optimization opportunities without compromising quality, safety, or timelines.
Supply Chain & Inventory Management
- Oversee the supply chain for EPC projects to ensure uninterrupted material flow to project sites.
- Coordinate with site teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent shortages or delays.
- Track material movement, logistics, and documentation, including statutory and import/export requirements, if applicable.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure strict compliance with government procurement norms (CPWD, GFR, PSU guidelines) and Infra.Health’s internal controls.
- Implement transparent, ethical, and auditable procurement processes.
- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks such as price volatility, supply delays, quality issues, and vendor non-performance.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and audit-ready procurement records, including POs, contracts, vendor communications, and delivery schedules.
- Provide regular MIS reports on procurement status, savings achieved, risks, and issues to senior management.
- Support internal and external audits related to procurement and project compliance.
Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
- MBA / Master’s degree in Supply Chain or Operations will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 8–10 years of total experience in Procurement within Construction EPC projects (mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare, hospital, or infrastructure EPC projects.
- Strong exposure to government, PSU, or public-sector EPC projects (CPWD, State PWD, Smart City, Healthcare Infrastructure, etc.).
- Real estate-only procurement experience is not acceptable.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong knowledge of EPC procurement workflows, contract administration, and vendor management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP / procurement systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
- Sound understanding of construction materials, MEP systems, hospital equipment, and healthcare-specific infrastructure requirements.

- Ability to manage multiple EPC projects under tight timelines and pressure.
