Job Title: Purchase Head for Real Estate Firm
Location: Surat
Experience : 1 to 3 years (In Real Estate)
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company’s goals and budget.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality, reliability, and favorable terms.
- Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations with suppliers to obtain competitive prices, favorable terms, and high-quality products.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the management of inventory levels, ensuring the company has the right amount of stock while minimizing costs and avoiding stockouts or excess inventory.
- Purchasing Process Optimization: Streamline the purchasing process to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
- Budget & Cost Control: Develop and manage the purchasing budget, monitoring expenses and ensuring that procurement remains within financial guidelines.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team, providing direction and ensuring high performance.
- Supplier Evaluation & Risk Management: Evaluate supplier performance regularly, address any issues, and identify potential risks in the supply chain.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards regarding purchasing practices.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare reports on procurement activities, cost savings, supplier performance, and other key metrics for senior management.
- Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with market trends, new products, and emerging suppliers to ensure the company is leveraging the best procurement opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, Head of Procurement, or similar senior-level purchasing role.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of vendor management and contract negotiations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is required (Master's preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)) are a plus.
