Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement purchasing strategies, forecast needs, and align procurement with company goals.
  • Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, select, and build relationships with reliable vendors; negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms.
  • Procurement Execution: Process purchase orders, track deliveries, manage goods received, and handle issues like damaged or short-supplied items.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or excess, coordinating with other departments.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Manage purchasing budgets, analyze spending, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, produce reports, and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Team Leadership (if applicable): Oversee and guide purchasing team members.
