Purchase Manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring that our organisation acquires high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. This role requires strong negotiation skills, a deep understanding of supply chain logistics, and proficiency in ERP systems . The Purchasing Manager will play a pivotal role in optimising our purchasing strategies to enhance operational efficiency.

Duties

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure adequate stock availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and manage supply chain activities effectively.
• Analyse purchasing data and prepare reports for management on procurement activities and supplier performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements affecting procurement.

Requirements

• Must be have Knowledge Pharma Medicine Purchasing.
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role within supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful supplier management.
• Familiarity with logistics processes and supply chain principles.
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
