Purchase Manager

Job Location:- Jammu

Key Responsibilities.

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.

Source and procure construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, MEP materials, etc.) and services for infrastructure projects.

Evaluate vendor quotations and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.

Maintain and develop vendor relationships to ensure high-quality supply and competitive pricing.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to identify procurement needs.

Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to avoid project delays.

Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and agreements.

Monitor inventory levels and initiate timely replenishment.

Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and legal regulations.

Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

Maintain documentation and records related to procurement transactions.

Manage subcontractor and third-party service provider contracts when needed.

Conduct market research to stay updated on price trends and material availability.

Qualifications and Skills.

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree or a related field is often preferred, Certification in supply chain management or procurement (e.g., CPSM, CPPM) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
