Purchase Manager

Experience: 8–10 Years
Location: Bangalore – Kasturba Road
Department: Construction and Engineering
Reports To: Operations Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with project and organizational goals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers for construction materials and services.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Coordinate with the project and site teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Maintain and monitor inventory levels in coordination with the stores and site teams.
  • Review and authorize purchase orders, contracts, and work orders.
  • Analyze market trends and material price fluctuations to make informed procurement decisions.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and present periodic reports on procurement performance, vendor evaluation, and cost analysis.
  • Collaborate with accounts and operations teams for payment processing and reconciliation.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor management, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Strong coordination and communication abilities across departments.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • MBA or PG Diploma in Materials Management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹540,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
